For the 5th edition of the Global Math Challenge, the test results will be stored on a blockchain network, as a trial brought to you by Sony Global Education.
*Individual test results and information that can identify users will not be stored on the blockchain network.
Blockchain is a data storage technology which can store highly secured information that assures tamper resistance of this data.
By saving the submission history of the test results in blockchain, it is possible to verify the authenticity of the certificate.
For example, when sharing the test results file with a third-party, one can confirm that the receiver has received the correct file with accurate results.
